Although oceans cover more than 70% of Earth, they remain one of our planet’s greatest mysteries. But now, scientists have identified nearly 100,000 previously unknown seamounts, using advanced satellite technology. 🌍🌊📡

This breakthrough was made possible by a collaboration between global researchers, NASA, and France’s CNES, using data from the SWOT satellite (Surface Water and Ocean Topography). 🛰️🔬
